Special Order Fish Request

Ordering Process

To help reduce shipping costs and ensure efficient livestock shipments, special orders are placed once a combined customer order total of $500 has been reached. This amount may be made up of multiple customer orders and does not need to be met by a single customer.

Once the order threshold is reached, we will request an updated availability and pricing list from our supplier and begin confirming individual orders. A $50 deposit is required to reserve a fish. Deposits are fully refundable if the fish becomes unavailable, does not survive transit, or is deemed unsuitable for release after inspection.

Responsible Livestock Placement

At First Due Aquatic Rescue, animal welfare is our highest priority. For expensive, protected, rare, or difficult-to-maintain species, we may verify aquarium size, system age, and husbandry experience before approving an order.

Our goal is to ensure every fish is placed into a stable, appropriate environment where it has the greatest chance for long-term success. As a rescue and education-focused organization, we believe responsible placement benefits both the hobbyist and the animals entrusted to our care.
