Anthelia are also known as Waving hand coral, Feather coral, or Glove coral. It is a popluar species in the reefing hobby for its long, waving fronds that create a dynamic and visually appealing display in aquariums. Anthelia features long, tubular polyps that extends from a creeping mat. Each polyp has 8 tentacles, giving it a hand like a appearance which can often be confused as Xenia.
